Fort Lauderdale, FL
This was only a three day trip to see the lead singer of Iron Maiden (Bruce Dickinson) speak a little about his life and his book at an event called An Evening with Bruce Dickinson.
On our way, and in the Fort Lauderdale airport on our way just as my son got a random appreciation on his Zelda sweater. The Zelda is still strong in the universe.
Day One, we found East Las Olas was the place to be. it was a really great strip with bakeries, restaurants, art galleries and museums. It would be a bit of a walk, but Las Olas will take you all the way to the cost where you will find additional restaurants, shops and beaches. That evening Las Olas really got busy, and most resturants had over an hour wait. So with that, we put our reservations in a couple places to see who could find us a seat first and El Camino answerd the call.
Day Two, The day of the Big Event. We are one member down and she had some meetings to attend to, but the rest of us headed out for some grub.
